Word on the Street: Clarity Orthodontics opens July 16
Practice provides clear braces, Invisalign, other options

A specialty orthodontics practice opening in north Fresno is looking to make two things clearer: oral health education and braces.
Clarity Orthodontics is set to open July 16 on the northwest corner of Herndon and West avenues with a focus on esthetic orthodontics and dental facial orthopedics.
“I feel really strongly about how braces can improve someone’s self image, and really give them the confidence to move forward to achieve their goals,” owner and orthodontist Dr. Tamara Shamlian said.
The Fresno native opened the private practice to answer needs for specific services, like clear braces and brackets, Invisalign and services to guide and correct the dental and facial growth of children without surgery.
The office will offer free examinations and consultations, Shamlian said. Her goal is to provide a personal experience for patients of all ages, and to offer modern options for patients who want a clearer smile.
